2026 is here. Welcome. You’re so thoughtful. You’ve already given us new goals, dreams, family members, business, and friends. Personally, I mosied on into 2026. While some people jumped the gun and were already in 2026 back in October, others sprinted into 2026 when the ball dropped, and some walked calmly into it on New Year’s Day… Yep. I mosied. I’m here now. Present for all the ups and downs that await me in 2026. I’m generally late to the party. Have been my whole life. And finally—today—I made my vision board. I did it differently this year. Instead of a physical board, I made a private Pinterest board with all my big dreams, 2026 visions, and goals. It was amazing—and took way less time than it normally takes me to make a beautiful physical vision board that I never know where to put once it’s done. Lol. I highly recommend it. Even if you already made a vision board for this year, do it again in Pinterest. It’s really fun and honestly kind of magical. Back-2-Basics. That’s my "word" for the year. Last year was full of life changes that kept me in constant “go” mode, with very little time to rest or take care of the basics. So this year, it’s back to basics—personally and in my business: • finances What about you? Where do you need to get back-2-basics? Is it your home? Did it become a cluttered mess over the holidays… and then you jumped straight into your New Year’s dreams—so it’s still a disaster? Do you have the physical and mental space to tackle your 2026 goals? Did you know there is “'a growing body of evidence that clutter can negatively impact mental well-being, particularly among women… women who have issues with clutter show a pattern of cortisol associated with chronic fatigue, post-traumatic stress disorder, and a higher risk of mortality'”? (From my book, Reclaim Your Space with G.R.A.C.E.) No wonder it’s hard to mentally stay in the game long enough to accomplish our New Year’s goals. No wonder it’s hard to slow down, meditate, and truly be with God. Our bodies physically cannot calm down. So let me ask you this: What physical clutter is standing between you and your dreams? Because you can't build new dreams in old clutter. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just tired of carrying it all—my book, Reclaim Your Space with G.R.A.C.E., walks you step-by-step through clearing the clutter that’s quietly draining your energy. In just six weeks, we can gently reset your space—together—so you have room for what God is calling you into next. 2026. We’re all here. Together. Building our dreams by decluttering one area—physical, spiritual, or mental—at a time. What’s your word of the year? Your goals? Hit reply and tell me—I’d love to hear. BE EXTRAORDINARY,MELINDA GRACEP.S. If you’re a busy mom reading this while standing in the kitchen, folding laundry, or hiding in the bathroom for five quiet minutes—this isn’t about doing more. It’s about creating a home that supports you instead of exhausting you. You don’t need a perfect house. And I promise—you’re not behind. You’re right on time. I had an amazing bosslady remind me of that this past week. So, now I'm reminding you.

Release and Renew. A couple of Saturdays ago, I hosted a webinar unexpectedly with my baby in a hotel room with an incredibly full heart. Why? Because some of my dear friends and I had a conversation about the surprising mental and emotional benefits of decluttering — and I wish you could have been there. Because something happened that I didn’t fully expect. Not a big organizing tip.Not a color-coded system. Not the perfect bin recommendation. Instead… We started talking about why it’s so...
I didn't expect this to be so hard. Sometimes letting go isn’t about clutter—it’s about identity. Hi beautiful friend, This week, I froze in my office. Not because I didn’t know what to do…but because I knew exactly what I should do—and didn’t want to. Dylan was napping. The house was quiet. And I was standing there in my office, staring at my theatre books. 🎭 My beloved Tennessee Williams.Chekhov.Shakespeare. Books that carried me through my years as an actor. Books that gave me confidence,...
I am a crazy person. I obsess over every single item I come across at a client's organizing project. I sort and categorize every item—from a pair of pants to a tube of lip gloss. Then I review every item we've unearthed with the client who hired me. Keep.Trash.Donate.Relocate. I’ll lay awake at night thinking through possible Tetris combinations for where to put a category. Should it go in this drawer or that cabinet? Is that how my client functions in the space? Will they love it or hate it?If...
