Step 1: G = GATHER

The first step is simple but powerful, GATHER. Here’s the deal: you can't organize a space without first gathering your thoughts—and your stuff! Step one is all about GATHERING everything you need to start your organizing journey. Think of it like planting seeds for a beautiful, peaceful home. It’s the foundation that makes everything else fall into place.

Before you dive in head-first, let's get clear on the why and how. Gather your thoughts, your goals, and your stuff. It’s about clarity. When you gather, you’re preparing to create something beautiful!

1. Gather your goals for the space you want to transform.
2. Gather your top 3 charities to donate your items. (Check out my Donate, Recycle, Sell guide if you get stuck!)
3. Gather your items. Pull everything out, sort, and group like items together.

As someone who has organized almost anything and everything, I know that getting started is the hardest part, so I hope these easy actionable steps will help get you going in the right direction!
